LIFESAVING PET TRANSPORT

I filmed and edited this video to spotlight Save a Heart, an initiative that gives heartworm-positive dogs a second chance at life. These dogs, often at high risk of euthanasia in overcrowded Southern shelters, are transported to partner shelters up North where they have a much greater chance of being adopted. This piece was created to raise awareness about heartworm disease, highlight the urgency of the overpopulation crisis in Southern shelters, and show the life-saving impact of collaborative transport efforts.
